“TA East represents an innovative, socially engaged, and deeply reflective model of psychotherapy training. Through its commitment to accessibility, intersectionality, and community engagement, Victoria Baskerville and her team have created a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive. Their work is deserving of recognition for its originality, integrity, and impact.
Throughout the process of completing the external examiner’s assessment and report, I received excellent support from the Institute and its team, who made my work both straightforward and enjoyable. I would like to sincerely thank them for their input and assistance.”

One student offered, ‘TA East encourages us to stay up to date with intersectional conversations and writings. It’s great to have an institution recommending wider reading on the topic, which has contributed massively to my work with clients. It feels exciting to be part of a change.’
Further that, they ‘found the TA 101 with Victoria an incredibly inspiring experience, and it was during that session that I became more aware of what Intersectionality was. This spurred me on to learn more and after a little look on the internet, it was clear TA were the only ones really doing this. Plus, the affordability of the prices compared to other institutions meant it was financially accessible to me…’

“The trainees and tutors are willing to go that extra mile to really look at themselves and how they relate with others through their experiences of privilege and oppression. It cannot be overstated how significant this is for their field of psychotherapy. Nowhere else have I seen a willingness, indeed a desire to, challenge and be challenged in such a ground-breaking way.”

“On this visit in my role as External Examiner I was able to spend some time with a grand collective of students from every year of the course. As External Examiner I was especially interested in the learning experiences of the students. It should be noted that the group of self-selecting learners who attended the feedback session represented incredible diversity in terms of race, gender, sexuality identified by the speaker, religion and faith.” - Andy Williams
